🇮🇳 Detailed Overview of Indian Navy Agnipath Scheme
The Indian Navy has officially released the detailed notification for the recruitment of unmarried male and unmarried female candidates as Agniveer SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and MR (Matric Recruit) for the 01/2027 & 02/2027 batches.
This scheme provides a unique opportunity for the youth to serve the nation for a tenure of 4 years. During this period, candidates will be trained at INS Chilka and will gain invaluable skills, discipline, and technical knowledge.

- Government Match: The Govt. of India matches the 30% corpus fund (Rs. 5.02 Lakhs).
- Seva Nidhi Package: Upon completion of 4 years, candidates receive approx Rs. 11.71 Lakhs, totally exempt from Income Tax.

- Visual Standards: Distance Vision 6/6 (Better Eye). Colour blindness candidates are not eligible.
- Tattoo Policy: Permanent tattoos only permitted on inner face of forearms or dorsal side of the hand.

No. Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible.

Up to 30% of the batch will be offered a permanent commission based on performance. The rest will be discharged with the Seva Nidhi package.

Yes, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer in the INET Computer Based Test.
